Like most good things in life, we started out at the kitchen table.

Two floral arrangements on a wooden surface. The larger arrangement is in a white pitcher with orange dahlias, purple and white flowers, and greenery. The smaller arrangement is in a decorative vase with pink and yellow roses, and various other small blooms and greenery. Background features wooden chairs and a textured tablecloth.

Megan, the owner and florist at Daphne’s, was looking for something different.

For years, she nurtured two different careers: a talented hairstylist by day, and a passionate floral designer by night. The kitchen table was the first floral studio, where she built a reputation for creating stunning arrangements for events and local film sets. Working in a salon was great, but all the while, there was that dream of one day having a shop of her own.

Eventually, what started as a beautiful side hustle soon became something more - it was time to make that dream happen! Megan hung up her hairstyling apron and channeled all her creative energy into taking the leap.

The end result was this lovely little space in East Vancouver. We wanted to create more than just a flower shop; we wanted to build a neighbourhood spot filled with beauty, creativity, and connection. Every bouquet that passes through our door is a piece of that original passion, and we're so grateful to be able to share it with you.

We’re proud to be a local East Van business, and to share our love for flowers with the community that we call home.

If you’re in the neighbourhood, come say hi!

We’re located at 1360 Nanaimo Street, open Tuesday-Saturday from 1030am to 530pm, and often here on Sunday and Monday too for special events and appointments!
